Microsoft Office Overview

Microsoft has officially announced the availability of the final version of its Office 2021 release for Windows and Mac users. Following the release of the preview version in the first half of this year, the product has been refined and is now available to users. Office 2021 includes updated versions of apps from the suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Publisher.

Office 2021 includes virtually every change that has been added to the suite of programs in Office 365 over the past 3 years, although some features remain exclusive to subscribers. In addition to the main programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, which are available for both Windows and macOS, the Access and Publisher versions are only available for Windows and are included, as usual, only in premiums. Visio and Project for Windows are also available, although they are not part of the ongoing release of Office.

HOW TO INSTALL WINDOWS ON PC

Here are the steps to install Windows on your computer:

Before You Begin:

1. Backup Your Data: Make sure to back up important files to an external drive or cloud service.
2. Create a Bootable USB Drive: Download the Windows ISO file from the official Microsoft website. Use a tool like Rufus or the Windows Media Creation Tool to create a bootable USB drive (minimum 8 GB).

Step 1: Insert the Bootable USB

• Plug the bootable USB drive into your computer.

Step 2: Enter BIOS/UEFI Settings

• Restart the computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI by pressing a specific key during startup (usually F2, F12, ESC, or DEL, depending on your system).
• Once inside, navigate to the boot order menu and set the USB drive as the first boot device.

Step 3: Boot from USB

• Save the changes and exit the BIOS/UEFI settings.
• Your computer will now restart and boot from the USB drive.

Step 4: Start Windows Installation

1. Language Settings: Once Windows setup starts, choose your preferred language, time, and keyboard layout, then click Next.
2. Install Now: Click Install Now to start the installation.
